Working vs Family

Everyone will say... Family come first if you compare to work.. as Job is gone.. you can find another one to replace it.. but if Family is broken.. then hard to recover... even manage to recover.. got a crack line which no matter what you did.. cannot goes back to original look..

Well.. that is normal people will think and do.. but so far.. May I ask.. how many people will do it and balance up the work vs family?
For example, during peak period .. we cannot treat this as normal working style.. you need to rush thing out, like report, completion of task.. and so on... During that time.. you will be late home , no time to fetch children from tuition center , day care center , sometime need to bring work back home to do.. no time to spend with children and family member... It will happened one week once or 3 time a month.. If someone come to you, "Can you do not keep on do your company stuff instead spend more time with children or help up with house work? " If you not able finish your work, then you got trouble at work. If you not helping your family, then you will not have happy environment in family.
So.. now, which is which come first , Family or working ?

So everything also must have a balance.. if without work, family member also will face financial issue. If you want a better life style.. then you need to have very good planning on everything.

Basically with an attitude of give and take , positive attitude toward anything, any problem can be easier solved...but honestly.. how many people can do it?

If you have a positive attitude and constantly strive to give your best effort, eventually you will overcome your immediate problems and find you are ready for greater challenges.

In Buddhism, we are always taught to give all our 100% on everything we do be it work life or family life. That means when you are at work, you need to give 100% effort on your work and once you are at home, same effort is to be applied too.

Of course it is always easier said than done when people used to say need to have a balance on everything. Like what you mentioned here, during peak period, we sometimes have no choice but to work till late in office and wont be able to help out chores at home. In this case, we need to have a good dialogue with our family members and get them to understand the situation you are facing. As this is only temporary, family members will normally understand and will accept that you have no time to accompany them as usual. Therefore a good dialogue will help to maintain the harmony at home.
